Request Portal Configuration - Create, Edit, and Share

Admin Users can create and edit a Request Portal. Each customized portal is open and has a unique link to share with anyone.

Guide - Create a New Portal

  1. From Admin Settings, open the Manage Modules tab.

  2. From the Settings section, select Requester Portals.

3. Click on the +Request Portal button to open the New Request Portal form.

4. Add the *mandatory and optional fields of information to the form.

  • Upload Images - any photo, doc, or file to display on the portal page.

  • *Title - unique name to identify portal

  • Description - internal notes or information about the portal

  • Welcome Text - a greeting displayed on the Requester Portal page

  • Instructions - information displayed on the portal page requesters might need

  • *Entity - facility associated to this portal, which requests can be made for

5. Hit Save. The portal information jumps to the list view.

Guide - Edit

  1. From the Admin Settings module, click the Manage Modules tab, then under Settings, select Request Portal.

  2. Click the name of the portal that you want to edit, to open the Request Portal card.

  3. Hit Edit in the top right corner of the Requester Portal card to open the Edit Request Portal form.

  4. Click any field in the form to modify.

  5. Hit the Save button once you are done.

Guide - Share

  1. To quickly share the portal URL with Requesters, simply select Copy Link in any row of the Request Portal list view.

  2. Click on a portal name to open the Request Portal card. From here, you have multiple ways to view, access, and share the portal.

  • Visit Portal button - opens a new desktop tab to your portal from a browser

  • Download QR Code button -download the QR code to physically put at locations so requesters have easy mobile access to the portal URL

  • QR Code - use a mobile device to quickly get to the portal website

  • Link - click on the highlighted link or copy and paste to share with others

Take a look at the portal page to check and decide if any modifications are needed.
