Request Module - Submit a Request

All Users, including Requesters, can log in and submit a Request via the Request Module. Users can view all requests but only edit your own.

Guide - Submit a Request

  1. Once logged in, select the Requests module from the main menu.

  2. Click on the +Request button.

  3. Add *required fields to the New Requests form then all other optional fields.

    • Upload Images - add files/docs/images about the request

    • *Title -what the request is about

    • *Description - details or message passed to maintenance team

    • Email Notifications - toggle on to get email updates when:

      • submit a new request

      • request is either approved, declined, or put on hold

      • approved request has been completed

    • Priority - level of importance or severity

    • Location - where the work needs to be done

    • Asset - equipment that needs to be fixed

    • Category - group or department

    • Needed by - date work should be completed by

    • Assign to - technician to do the job

    • Vendor - outside contractor

4. Hit the Save button. The request is now ready to be managed, meaning it can be Approved, Declined, or put On-hold by an Admin User.

Requester Users can view all Requests but only edit their own while in Pending status.

  1. Log in and select the Requests Module from the main menu.

  2. From the Request list view page, click the Settings icon to open the View Settings window. From this window you can customize your list view.

    • Select how many rows to display in Results per Page

    • Toggle on or off the columns you want to display in your list

    • Click and drag the column names in the order you want them to appear.

    • Click Apply to keep changes or Cancel to close window.

  3. Click on the name of any request to open and view all information submitted.

  4. Click the X to close the request.

Guide - Edit Request

  1. Log in and select the Requests Module from the main menu.

  2. Click on the name of your request you want to edit, while in Pending status, to open the Request form.

  3. Click on the Edit button to open the Edit Request form.

  4. Click in the fields to make your modifications.

  5. Click Save to keep changes or Discard Changes to cancel.
