Submit a Request - Request Module

All Users, including Requesters, can log in and submit a Request via the Request Module. Users can view all requests but only edit your own.

  1. Once logged in, select the Requests module from the main menu.

  2. Click on the +Request button.

  3. Add *required fields to the New Requests form then all other optional fields.

    • Upload Images - add files/docs/images about the request

    • *Title -what the request is about

    • Description - details or message passed to maintenance team

    • Email Notifications - toggle on to get email updates when:

      • Submit a new request (confirmation)

      • Request is either approved, declined, or put on hold

      • Any status change to the work order from an approved request

    • Priority - level of importance or severity

    • Location - where the work needs to be done

    • Asset - equipment that needs to be fixed

    • Category - group or department

    • Needed by - date work should be completed by

    • Assign to - technician to do the job

    • Vendor - outside contractor

4. Hit the Save button. The request is now ready to be managed, meaning it can be Approved, Declined, or put On-hold by an Admin User.

Requester Users can view all Requests but only edit their own while in Pending status.

  • The number next to the module shows how many Pending Requests need to be managed.

  • There's no number visible if nothing in a Pending status.

  • The number is white while in the module

  • Green indicates nothing is overdue or critical

  • Red means there are Requests overdue from the Needed By field

Log in and select the Requests Module from the main menu.

  1. Click on the name of any request to open and view all information submitted.

  2. Click the X to close the request.

  3. Don't forget to click on the Settings icon to customize the columns and view the settings of the module.

  1. Log in and select the Requests Module from the main menu.

  2. Click on the name of your request you want to edit, while in Pending status, to open the Request form.

  3. Click on the Edit button to open the Edit Request form.

  4. Click in the fields to make your modifications.

  5. Click Save to keep changes or Discard Changes to cancel.
