Submit a Request - Floor Plans Module

All Users, including Requesters, can log in and submit a Request via the Floor Plan Module, which must be previously configured by an admin user. Users can view all requests via floor plan and

View Requests

Once a map is open, select the Request filter to view where any request is currently located, whether asset or location type. Click on a pin to open the drawer and view request details, edit, or manage.

  1. Once logged in, select the Floor Plans module from the main menu.

  2. Click on the View Floor Plan button to open the map.

  3. Click on the +Request button or click on any asset or location pin on the map to open the drawer.

  4. From drawer, click the +Request button.

  5. Add *required fields to the New Requests form then all other optional fields.

    • Upload Images - add files/docs/images about the request

    • *Title -what the request is about

    • *Description - details or message passed to maintenance team

    • Email Notifications - toggle on

      to get email updates when:

      • submit a new request

      • request is either approved, declined, or put on hold

      • approved request has been completed

    • Priority - level of importance or severity

    • Location - where the work needs to be done

    • Asset - equipment that needs to be fixed

    • Category - group or department

    • Needed by - date work should be completed by

    • Assign to - technician to do the job

    • Vendor - outside contractor

6. Hit the Save button. The request is now ready to be managed, meaning it can be Approved, Declined, or put On-hold by an Admin User.
