Add
From the Vendors module, click the +Vendor button in the top right corner to open the New Vendor form.
Add all the *required fields plus any option fields of information.
Admin Users can customize which fields of information are on the form and which are made mandatory from the Admin Settings module. |
Upload Images - Add files/docs/images related to the vendor
*Vendor Name - outside contractor or company assigned to work orders and/or parts suppliers
Tax ID - helps combine similar vendors to run accurate reports
Description - notes/details/information about the vendor
Contacts - the person from the company
URL - company website links
Hourly Rate - charge per hour for vendors assigned to work orders
Address - location of company
Location - association to which site in your entity
Assign to Work Orders - toggle on to select vendors' name from the vendor field on a work order and associate them for report purposes.
Parts Supplier - inventory & parts contact
Category - way to categorize work orders and requests ex: HVAC, Plumbing, Safety
Assets - equipment name
Parts - associated part to equipment
Rating - internal review of the company

3. Click Save in the top right corner of the form. The vendor details then jump to the list view in alphabetical order.
Edit
Just like any other module, the list view has multiple features to help you find and customize specifics such as Filters, Search, and Settings. |
Click on the name of the Vendor from any row to open the Vendor Detail card.
Click Edit to modify any field of information in the card.
Hit the Save button to keep the changes. Click Cancel to dismiss and close.
Notice the +Work Order button when you open a Vendor Detail card. This allows you to view vendor information and quickly create a work order, if needed. |
