Benefits

Here are some key benefits of a report comparing Completed Reactive maintenance work orders to Preventive maintenance work orders:

  • Identifies Maintenance Focus - helps determine whether your team is spending more time on unplanned, reactive maintenance or planned, proactive tasks.

  • Resource Allocation Insight - shows if urgent, unplanned repairs are consuming resources at the expense of preventive tasks.

  • Work Planning - makes it easier to plan and prioritize maintenance tasks. This helps prevent PM tasks from being delayed because of frequent emergency repairs.

  • Reactive Maintenance Trends - if ad hoc work orders are high, it may indicate that equipment isn't being adequately maintained or that PM schedules need review.

  • Compliance with Regulatory Requirements - make sure important PM tasks are done on time. This will reduce the risk of not meeting safety or operating standards.

  • MTTR - provides insight into where your time, resources, and money is going and if improvements or restructuring needs to be made.
