Benefits

The Work Order Completed On-time vs. Overdue report provides an overview of maintenance performance, helping organizations to reduce delays, improve reliability, optimize costs, and maintain high standards of safety and compliance. Some primary benefits include:

  • Improved Operational Efficiency- Managers can find problems in maintenance by tracking work orders that are done on time and those that aren't. This helps them plan better and prioritize important maintenance tasks.

  • Enhanced Accountability - observe if maintenance teams can meet deadlines and complete tasks on time or if work consistently falls short or expectations are too high.

  • Informed Decision-Making - Use information from work orders that are overdue to make better decisions about who should be assigned to jobs and to keep things running.

  • Improved Compliance and Safety - An overdue report identifies risks that could lead to non-compliance in industries with strict regulatory requirements. This ensures safety protocols are followed, reducing potential accidents and hazards from neglected maintenance.
