A procedure is a set of instructions on specific maintenance tasks. You can create, add, and edit Procedure templates in the desktop version. Then, add Procedure template to any existing work order or any new Reactive or Preventive work order from the mobile app. Editing or adding data to each procedure item is easily done on the app, while on the go.

View Procedure - PM Module
See all details of your PMs from the module, including which Procedures are included when the work order generates.
Click on any PM from the PM Module to open the PM detail form.
Notice the Procedures & Checklists tab. A number indicates how many items are listed in either a Procedure or Checklist. Tap on the tab to view all the details of the procedure and what items are included when the PM generates.
PM Module Edit (add procedure to PM template)
Note that only Admin and Limited Admin users can add a Procedure to a PM template.
From the Work Orders module, tap on the PM tab to open the PMs module.
Tap on the name of a PM to open the detail card.
Tap on the edit icon to open the Edit PM form.
Locates the Procedures section and tap on +Select Procedures.
Select the Procedure template you'd like to add. Checkmark shows selected.
Click on Back.
Hit the Save button or Cancel to discard the edit. This procedure is now included every time this PM generates.

How to view, add, and complete a Procedure on a work order.
View procedure on exiting WO
From the Work Orders module, tap on the name of any existing work order to open. Note any items in the Procedures & Checklists tab.
Tap on the Procedures & Checklists tab to view.
Click Show More to view any list longer than two items.
Add procedure to existing WO
From the Work Orders module, tap on the name of a work order to open it.
Tap on the edit icon from any work order, if you have permission to do so.
Scroll down and locate the Procedures section and tap on +Select Procedures.
Select Procedure from the list. Checkmark shows selected.
Tap on Back.
Tap on Save.
This procedure is now included to this specific work order and must be completed before closed out.
Complete procedure on existing WO
From the Work Orders module, tap on the name of any work order to open it.
Tap on the Procedures & Checklists tab. A number indicates how many items need to be completed.
Tap on Show More if you want to view the complete list of procedures.
Click on the edit icon.
Depending on the item type, click the area that needs data entered about each item. Entries are auto saved. The item options are:
Tap on the Completed button at the bottom of the Procedures list once all items are marked.
Tap on Back to close the Procedures list and get back to the work order.
Your Admin users might have a Procedure setting on. This makes a comment required if the procedure isn't completed. When changing the status to In Review or Completed, you can get notification if this is the case. |
