Parts QR Codes - Create or Add Existing

How to create new QR codes for your parts or add existing ones to the program.

Each part in the program needs a unique QR code. Scanning these codes with the Click Maint CMMS app lets you access information more quickly and easily. You can do the same for each asset and location. Below are the steps for adding part codes to the program.

Guide

  1. Click on the Inventory & Parts module.

  2. From the Part column, click in the box next to "Part" to select all. To select specifics, click on the image next to each part's name. The QR icon then appears in the Part column header.

  3. Click on the QR Code icon.

  4. Once the Generate QR Codes window opens, read the message then select "Yes, Generate" button. A new unique code is now associated with each item.

  5. Repeat the same steps when ready to download each QR code to your computer as a PDF image or the codes on a spreadsheet. Then, you can physically label each location and scan the code via the app. See full print QR code steps here.
