Assign a Tech to a New Work Order
When you create a new work order, click in the "Assign to" field and choose a technician to carry out the work.
Assign a Tech to an Existing Work Order
If the work order has already been created, and you have the correct permissions, you can click the "Edit" button to open the original work order form. Scroll down and click in the "Assign To" field and select the name from the drop-down list.
Any user with Technician user permissions can see all work orders, but can only edit the work orders they've been assigned to.
Add Techs Name to "Assign To" List
To add a Technician to the "Assign to" list, an Admin User must make sure the Technician User has the right permissions on their Profile card.

Add Name to List Guide
From the Users module, click on the name of the User to open their Profile card.
Click on the Edit button.
Toggle on Can Be Assigned to Work Order button. A checkmark means their name will be listed. An x means hidden.
Once this permission is on, you have the option of adding the User's labor rate and overtimes. This rate is only visible on their profile card and not visible on work orders.
Click Save to have the name now on the list or click Discard Changes to cancel.
To add a brand new user to the program, see the Add and Edit Users guide. Don't forget to give them the "Can Be Assigned to Work Order" permission, so their name can be selected from the Assign To field on a work order.
