In Review Setting

With this setting, Technician Users won't have the Completed status

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Admins can enable the In Review setting, allowing Technician Users to mark their work as In Review when they finish. The Completed status isn't available on the work order form. Admin or Limited Admin users should review work orders marked as In Review and can either send them back to a technician or mark them as Completed.

The In Review status gives the work order a Completed date. This is so the work order doesn't appear overdue.

Guide

  1. Admins select the Admin Settings module from the main menu.

  2. Select Manager Modules tab.

  3. Under the Settings section, select Work Orders configuration.

  4. Toggle on In Review or toggle off if you want Technician users to mark work orders Completed.

  5. Hit the Save button to keep any changes.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

If technicians are unable to mark work orders as completed, consider the following steps:

  1. Check Assignment: Ensure the work order is assigned to the technician.

  2. Review Admin Settings: Verify whether the "In Review" setting is enabled and adjust it if necessary.

  3. Confirm Role Permissions: Ensure the technician has the appropriate role (e.g., Lead Technician) to complete the work order.

With this setting, Technician Users don't see the Completed status on work orders.

This visibility is also influenced by their roles and whether they are assigned to or have created the work orders.
