About Account Codes

Include account codes on work orders for easier grouping to help track costs accurately in reports

Updated yesterday

Work orders can be assigned to an account code, making it easier for the accounting team to track and group maintenance expenses. There are a few steps to have account codes included in the program.

1. Admin users must initially decide if the account code field is visible or required from the work order configuration settings.

2.Then Admins can customize the codes from the Admin Settings - Account Code Reference List. Learn more here on how to Manage Account Code list.

Once Admin users make field visible and create the codes, they're available on the work order form.

You can search for them in the Work Orders module's keyword search.

You can display an Account Code column in the list view.

You can also use the Filters on reports to find account code data.
